2010-present

North Carolina has been my home since 2005 and I’m constantly amazed my its natural beauty. Even though I’ve spent countless hours in her mountains and at her beaches, there are always new gems to discover. I absolutely can’t get enough of this endlessly lovely state.

Believe it or not, but this photo of the Linn Cove Viaduct was taken before sunrise. I shot a 13 second exposure to get enough light to have an image, plus the car's lights streaming through the image.

I drive by this old barn almost every day. I finally mustered to courage to knock on the homeowner's door and ask if I could photograph it. I felt like a weirdo asking, but he was really happy that I did.
